Notes about the Qubes OS forum

  • mute categories (ie: “All around Qubes”, etc.)

  • mute user

Ideas

  • like needs-issue and needs-doc, create a faq tag, with the common topics, things that might be added to the Frequently asked questions (FAQ).

  • a new category? The opposite of All around Qubes category: only for those who try to ask good questions, who try to be specific to Qubes OS, no off-topic, no FUD, no AI, etc. It would allow one to focus and provide good answers.

  • put some templates of automatic answers here?

About small remarks and off-topic

There a lot of small reactionary or confused remarks that pops here and there on the forum. Taken as separate pieces, that’s just a minor annoyance. But with the full picture, it’s just the same thing as what I can see in the society, when I’m confronted to “neutral” environments: reactionary or confused voices are wasting our time and speaking loud, while we keep things going on.
